About Me
My name is Grayson Hull and I'm a backend software engineer based in the SF Bay Area. I graduated from Cal State East Bay with a B.S. in Computer Science.
I work as the sole developer at PAC Integrations where I own the full architecture of our internal business platforms. I design and build systems in Python, PostgreSQL, and FastAPI that have saved the company over $100K a year and cut out hundreds of hours of manual work. Day to day I work closely with every department to figure out what they actually need and then build something that solves it for good.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time building things for fun. Right now I'm working on Orchestruct, an AI powered calendar app that schedules your tasks around your goals and energy levels, and Jobkit, a job search tracker that uses an LLM to write tailored resume bullets and outreach messages for each job you apply to.
I also maintain a mod for Star Wars Empire at War on Steam Workshop that has picked up over 3,500 active players. I keep it updated based on what the community asks for and it has been a good way to stay sharp on shipping and maintaining something people actually use.
I like working on problems that have a real impact. Whether that is replacing an expensive software license with something custom built or just making a workflow less painful for the people who have to use it every day.
